Doc And Roma Peeke Park
Doc and Roma Peeke Park has lots to offer. Want to learn disc golf, have an afternoon picnic, or just enjoy some fresh air at the park? This is a great place to gather with neighbors and enjoy the summer. The park is formerly known as the Volga City Park.
George Kiner Park
A new neighborhood means a new park. Enjoy the playground equipment over by the new development on the southwest side of town. Dedicated as George Kiner Park in 2021.
Sunrise Park
Enjoy a nice grassy area and playground equipment with picnic tables on the north east side of town along 1st Street.
1 Acre Park
Have you heard of 1 Acre Park? This park is tucked in over by Adams Ave. This is a large grassy area where the kiddos can get out and run around. This park also has a covered picnic area. Follow the Born Learning trail to this hidden hangout. .jpg)
Cotton Baseball and Softball Complex
The City of Volga and The Sioux Valley School district share our baseball and softball complex on the north side of the Sioux Valley Schools. The complex contains Hoff Baseball Field that the Volga Baseball Association takes great pride in and maintains. The Cotton Softball Field stays busy with the city's park and recreation baseball and softball teams, as well as two smaller fields called East and West Field. Our youngest baseball and softball players get to use to those fields to grow and develop their skills on. During the spring and summer this is a very lively and busy area of town.
Archery Range NEW! We are excited to have this great archery range added to our community. If you are an avid hunter or just want to learn the sport, go check out the new archery range on the southwest side of town. Located on the far end of W 6th Street, next to the community gardens and dog park.
Community Gardens
The City of Volga has a community garden with plats available for city residents to rent out. The gardens are located on the far end of W 6th Street by the new archery range. If interested, please contact City Hall for more information or to reserve a plot.

Auditorium

City Pool
Cool off in the summer at the Volga City Pool. We offer Red Cross swimming lessons as well as water aerobics. Open from June - August each year. Located next to Doc & Roma Peeke Park.
