MINUTES OF LONG RANGE PLANNING MEETING

The City Council of the City of Volga, SD, met for a Long Range Planning meeting, Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 6:30 PM, at the Volga Community Center; Mayor Mary Bjerke presiding.  Members present: Dave Rankin, Marty Strasburg, Keith Benson, Kelly Vander Wal, and Roger Anderson.  Member Absent:  Ken Fideler.  Also present:  City Administrator Steve Meyer, Finance Officer Nicole Rawden, Revenue Billing Specialist Melanie Hageman, Electrical Superintendent Brent Brown, Water and Wastewater Operator Jon Hauge, Ryan Brunner from the BEDC, Blaine Hoff, Aaron Zaug, and Kathi Granum from the Volga Tribune. 

Mayor and Council Members met to discuss and review long range planning for the City of Volga.  No council action taken.

Meeting adjourned at 9:30 PM.
